Dementor officially hotter than Lord Voldemort?

According to the the list of the 50 hottest men in "Harry Potter" films published yesterday yes it is.

 To help you comapare:
 Voldemort: position 35

 Dementor: position 28

But the dark lord (Ralph Fiennes)  should not worry too much because there are many more surprsing positions on the list.

Doby (Toby Jones) is ranked as hotter than Victor Krum (Stanislav Ianevski) the hunky wizard who tried to steal Hermione's heart in the 4th film "Harry Potter and the goblet of fire"

 For Comparison:

(Okay I admit Doby's smile and those big eyes surely make him a fair winner in this one )

The top 5 include:
5.Dean Thomas(Alfie Enoch )
4. Lucius Malfoy )
3.Tom Riddle(Christian Coulson )
2.Cormac Mclaggen (Freddie Stroma )
1.Neville Longbottom (Matthew Lewis )

What do you think of the list? Should there be one for the hottest females in the Harry Potter?Who would you put on the top place?

Jim Carrey refuses to promote a film he plays a lead role in?

Jim Carrey has shocked everyone after releasing a statement on twitter refusing the promotion of the next movie "Kick Ass 2" which will hit the big screen (UK)  on the14th of August :

Sunday :  "I did Kickass a month b4 Sandy Hook and now in all good conscience I cannot support that level of violence. My apologies to e" "I meant to say my apologies to others involved with the film. I am not ashamed of it but recent events have caused a change in my heart."

The 51 year old actor is known as a strong supporter of gun-control. The Universal Pictures have not yet commented, however the creator and executive director of "Kick Ass" Mark Millar  responded with confusion over Carrey's decision on his website(Millarworld ) :

"A sequel to the picture that gave us Hit-Girl was always going to have some blood on the floor and this should have been no shock to a guy who enjoyed the first movie so much... like Jim, I'm horrified by real-life violence (even though I'm Scottish), but Kick-Ass 2 isn't a documentary."

So is Carrey' s refusal a crucial stand against films which present crime and violence as admirable and necessary for the greater good or just a very clever marketing technique to create a buzz around a movie which has proved to be a grand success before?
Kick Ass (2010) made $19,828,687 in the opening weekend alone!

Here is the trailer of Kick Ass 2:

Iron Man 3

Mood Type:Annoyed,Tired,Stressed

Type:Action/Adventure/Sci-fi (2013)
Length: 130 minutes
My rating (out of 10):7
One word description:Entertaining

Overview:Tony Stark is back yet again in his full glory with gadgets, armors and witty lines. But will  all of that be enough to forget about the past ,conquer the new villain Mandarin and save the only thing he truly cares about?

Sum-up:
  •  Despite the previous two films being a huge success,it has to be concluded that this one is as funny and entertaining.
  • I am glad to say that Iron man's personality traits of overconfidence, carelessness and witty lines remain as they should.
  • The story follows a basic superhero plot which is not extremely exciting  however there are a few twists which add a bit of tension and anxiety and ultimately help to save it.
  • It has many comical scenes in it which are portrayed well and there are many quotes which could become your new favourites. Example: "I'm Tony Stark. I build neat stuff, got a great girl, occasionally save the world. So why can't I sleep?".
Conclusion: A good super-hero movie with a lot of action and humour.

Fast and Furious 6

If you are looking for a film that will be:action/explosion packed, funny

Type:Action/Crime/Thriller (2013)
Length: 130 minutes
My rating (out of 10):6
One word description:Entertaining

Overview:The gang of our favourite untouchable criminals with Dom (Vin Diesel) and  Brian(Paul Walker)  is back to help Hobbs bring down the organization of criminals operating across 12 countries. The stakes are high and the price of clean slate is tempting, but will the crew be able to stop them before it's too late?

Sum-up Opinion:
  • The movie is full of technology, cars, explosions and stunts just as in the previous films in the sequel.Maybe even more?
  • The plot is weak and not engaging enough unless you are a special effects/technology fanatic.
  • Our favourite comedy characters are back including Tey(Ludacris) and Roman (Tyrese Gibson) who have many witty lines and memorable quotes which make the film very amusing.
  • Some of the scenes lack realistic portrayal especially the fights which is frustrating at times.
  • There is one or two twists  including surprising appearances Spoiler Alert:   (Rita Ora has a very small part) but the best and the most shocking are saved till last

Conclusion: A good action movie which has effective and well-thought out visual effects and thrilling stunts but which lacks creativity in the general story plot of the film.

 Would I watch it again:Unlikely

Strange incidents take place in the small southern town following the arrival of  Lena ()  a member of much disliked and feared family. However,Ethan () fascinated by the mysterious girl despite the warnings tries everything to get her attention. Will they be able to uncover and solve the secrets of their families and their town?

Sum up:
  • Believable and genuine acting on the part of the dark characters which  will sometimes make you wonder if this film is really just a rom-com .The role played by and    are particularly concrete and add a great twist.
  • Overall a good story plot but not innovative or developed enough to last the whole 124 minutes without beginning to be repetitive and uninteresting.
  • There are a few comedy scenes which successfully break away from the tension of the film but I think the director could have squeezed a few more.
Conclusion:
A light and feel good movie which will possibly put you in a good mood but does not contain anything that you haven't already seen before.

Sum up:
  • An extremely  well written story plot which contains all the typical dreamworks themes of love, family and friendship and explores them in a unique and never seen before setting.
  •  The  $135,000,000 budget was absolutely well spent because the animation effects are exceptional with vibrant colours and quick action changes which are very realistic.

  • Exciting and mysterious plot although the first 15 minutes are quite slow and uneventful.
  • Many twists and turns which in some cases seem odd and unrealistic but will definitely shock and keep you guessing till the end.

Type: Comedy/Romance (2013)

My rating (out of 10):5
One word description:Tolerable

The plot follows the story of a young couple Nat(Rose Byrne) and Josh (Rafeal Spall) who after a hasty decision to marry after just 7 months of knowing each other begin to see the hardship that is marriage .The question is will they last a year?

Sum-up:
  • There are a few great actors in it including Anna Harris,Olivia Colman and Stephen Merchant
  • The plot is predictable and dull at times.
  • The humour in the scenes didn't work most of the time and was only sometimes  saved by the great cast
  • It is over-dramatic in the scenes which is not supposed to be in ,and in the scenes where it could add much needed humour it just wasn't funny.

Conclusion:
An okay film for a lonely night in when you feel like you want to see your favourite British actors and you don't really care about the story plot. There are some scenes which will put a smile on your face but definitely not make you cry with laughter.

However, he meets and develops an unusual friendship with Tiffany(Jennifer Lawrence) who  persuades him to go on the date with her and participate in the dance competition so that his plan begins to complicate more and more.

Sum-up:
  • A strong and interesting plot which does not drag on even though the best scenes are towards the end.
  •    It is not overly sloppy, romantic or dramatic and the addition of new facts about the characters at different stages complete the plot well(so don’t panick If you don’t understand everything at the beginning
  • The acting is believable and most of the characters are likeable and genuinely amusing
  •  A funny, feel-good movie which shows different addictions, illnesses and everyday problems. It also has a positive, clear moral which many will be able to relate to.

Cloud Atlas

Mood Type: Bored,Upset,Depressed

Type: Adventure/Drama/Sci-fi
Length: 172 minutes
My Rating (out of 10):7
One word description: Mysterious

Overview:
It is a compilation of various stories in the past, present and future which show how humans and their actions are all interconnected with each other.

Sum-up:
  • There are quite a few stories which at the start seem overly mysterious and complex however I assure you with time the plot becomes more understandable.
  • The action is very fast paced and unpredictable. Within 5 minutes a story changes upside down to something you didn’t think was possible.
  • The characterization is absolutely amazing. Although, the one thing that they could have improved is Tom Hanks fake teeth because they were too perfect and red-carpet white for a 19th century story plot.
Spoiler Alert: Surprisingly the teeth stayed in place for the whole  duration of the film!
